Babushka's Doll

When whiny Natasha bugs her grandmother Babushka about playing instead of work, her grandmother gives her a doll to play with.  And when Babushka leaves to run errands, the doll comes to life! Natasha has fun at first but the doll begins to wear her out.  Will the doll ever stop, did she actually come to life or is it in Natasha's head?

Rating 4 out of 5 stars.  This book retells an older Russian tale.  I think that there are good elements of this traditional tale and there is good moral about being patient, but the book seemed strange to me and may confuse children to thinking dolls are bad.
