When assigned a school project to become a pen pal to 89-year-old Mrs. Kaplan, Julie Welsh is afraid she won't have anything to talk about. Rating 5 out 5 stars. I may be a little biased with this book, but I really loved this story when I was younger. it was my favorite book for a long time. This is great to look at issues, specifically JRA that most people do not know about. It also can help some children relate like me with idea my little brother had. It teaches perseverance and it written in a non-traditional format of a letter style one way. For about grades 3-6.
