This is the first year Brother and Sister are heading out alone to trick-or-treat.  They have the night all planned with their friends and costumes.  But when they end up at scary Miz McGrizz's house it seems things take a turn for the worst, or have they?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.  This is a pretty good picture book.  It has beautiful pictures that tell a great story.  The story also relates to children and things they recognize about trick-or-treating or Halloween if they go out.  The Berenstain Bears are also beloved so children can recognize them and this series.  There are a little bit too many words per page, however.

Rating 3 out of 5 stars. I loved this book as child so much, but looking at it now as a picture book, it seems the elements are not on the very top. The pictures are not extraordinary, however they are the main focus and do tell the story alone.  The content is funny and rhyming, and is sort of predictable.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars.  This book really focuses on the pictures in the book.  The pictures are textured, colorful and tell  great story.  The story uses many great elements to provide a rich picture. There are also not too many words.
